AMA with HomeSpace

On the 8th of June, 2022 at 1 PM UTC, Decentralized Club had the honor of hosting Nikita Kovrigo from HomeSpace Metaverse for an Ask-Me-Anything session on their Telegram page with a community of over 1,00,000 people. It was hosted by Ella.

The session was divided into three segments. Introductions were made in Segment 1, questions from the Twitter community were answered in Segment 2, and live questions from the community members in attendance were answered in Segment 3.

Can you introduce yourself to the Community ?

Definitely. My name is Nick and I am the co-founder of the Homespace Metaverse. I’ve worked in building IT start-ups for 6 years already and I am in crypto since 2018. I’ve worked on several DeFi projects, and in May 2021, we decided with Timur Suleimanov (founder) to create a vast photorealistic metaverse.

Q1. Can you give us a quick overview of HomeSpace Metaverse and what motivated you to start this project?

[Nick]

We’re creating a decentralised Metaverse that allows you to create your personal virtual world — your Homespace, where you can design the home of your dreams. We are also introducing a customisable AI Companion to make your virtual home experience even more special. The project’s core is our Homespace Capital City featuring entertainment venues, educational institutions, game zones, and even financial districts with DeFi Projects. We aim to serve humanity by solving global problems: improving living conditions with virtual homes, organising virtual jobs, providing children with free education, contributing free medical consultations from AI, caring for lonely people with the help of AI, and creating a new type of community.

Q2. What is the purpose of public spaces in HomeSpace? Could you give us a quick rundown?

[Nick]

Public spaces have an unlimited number of possibilities, since any user can visit concerts, exhibitions, and public events that can be held there. Also, there will be lots of districts to fill our metaverse with activities.

Q3. How Artificial Intelligence (AI) will benefit users in the Homespace?

[Nick]

Artificial intelligence will initially be used as an assistant in Homespace. He will be able to help with basic actions inside your virtual space. In addition, we want to implement a system of ordering food, psychological assistance and a sense of true friendship for lonely people using this technology.

Q4. How does a user obtain NFT Art & Architecture of HomeSpace Metaverse ? What are the advantages?

[Nick]

The user will be able to purchase part of the NFS on our marketplace, which is currently under development, and part will be able to create himself or transfer from other marketplaces with which we will cooperate. All NFTs in our ecosystem will have usability. Houses, lands and furniture are NFTs. Our personalised AI assistant will be a separate NFT for each user. And even if we come simply to NFT pictures, you can at least hang them on the wall in your homespace. So, we’ll make our NFT usable, and it won’t just be stored in a wallet. Also, Homespace is not a game. We want to continue the legacy of Second Life and bring those non-gamers and gamers together in our metaverse. Our strengths are photorealistic graphics, aesthetics, and the use of the latest technology (like Unreal Engine 5, MetaHuman, GPT-3, and much more). Usable NFT is one of our primary advantages; every piece of furniture, land, book, house or even AI assistant will be personal and based on NFT technology at some point.

Q5.Can you tell us about HomeSpace Metaverse forthcoming events and accomplishments it has made thus far?

[Nick]

We’ve come to a great distance since we started with Timur Suleimanov (our CEO) in May 2021. We’ve gathered a team of 35 members, numerous partners and advisors, from different fields and almost finished developing the MVP version of all main aspects of the Homespace project. One of our last significant achievements is winning the MoleDAO hackathon, becoming a part of zkSync ecosystem, and onboarding the first investor Big Brain Holding.

Our short-term plan is to deliver specific parts of the actual product as soon as possible. We will publish the first Alpha this month. For example, you will play Poker, which works on Smart Contracts in beautiful designer Poker Rooms. Also, you will be able to test our Artificial Intelligence during the next NFT-Sale — we will deliver the first view of integrating GPT-3 Neural Network, TTS and MetaHuman technology with the direct stream to the web.

Staking is a great tool to maintain an understanding of where are your tokens for sustainable tokenomics. Our staking will provide an incentive, discount to certain features and additional content

Q2. Many projects are currently short of breath due to lack of experience and roadmaps. Can you list the outstanding characteristics of the project that make it different from its competitors? What competitive advantage does your platform have that you feel most confident about?🥰@Ripon64474125

[Nick]

We are quite different from competitors and have many advantages. Voxel graphics and games are great, but the market is overflown with such projects. Although we look like one, Homespace is not a game. We want to continue the legacy of Second Life and bring those non-gamers and gamers together in our metaverse. Our strengths are photorealistic graphics, aesthetics, and the use of the latest technology (like Unreal Engine 5, MetaHuman, GPT-3, and much more). We want to create a deeply immersive experience for users to make them want to come back and spend their time in Homespace Capital. And to summarise it all, our primary goal is to сreate a better reality for all and replace classical institutions with better substitutes: create advanced educational systems for children, health care systems based on AI, a new level of entertainment and even a possibility to get a real job inside a Virtual Space.

Q3. “What is your top priority for 2022?” Can you and your team members share a bit about the strategy that your project to the will implement in the near future? The demo will be available roughly in a month. Every user will be able to download the demo build and try it himself on his pc. Although as requirements of Unreal Engine 5 are very high, we tried to implement the server-side of the project. Our project will be accessible from our cloud gaming service developed specifically for the Homespace Metaverse.

Till the end of this year we want to release following parts of the project:

— Homespace Capital — the main city of the Homespace, huge multiplayer area with almost limitless activities

— Including following districts — DeFi district, NFT district, Gaming district, Underground district, Casino district, and more

— Also some surrounding areas, we have a landscape designer in-house

— Establish revenue streams to make the project sustainable

— Launch token and maintain its financial health

— Constantly grow on collaborations with partners from different fields

Q4.I have read on your roadmap that Homespace Client (Beta I) will be available on Windows and Mac with VR support. Can you tell us more about this Beta version? Is there any no possible way that mobile users can experience the HomeSpace Client?@Randiyansyah8

[Nick]

The beta version will work as mentioned above through downloading the game client or playing through our cloud gaming option. In the future, the Mac version will be accessible. Mobile devices will be available to join most probably after we finish completely the server-side of the project and optimize for touch controls.

VR inputs are already done and being tested by our team. They will be probably added till the end of Summer

Q5. It says on the Homespace platform that we can choose from a gallery of layouts created by professional interior designers. So, will we be able to decorate only from the ready-made gallery created by the designers? Can we create decorations according to our own taste?@TerusCuannn

Homespace will feature both ready-made works from world-famous architects and designers and spaces that you can create and customize yourself. We are already working on creative mode, where you, like in the Sims game, will be able to create your dream home. You can also use NFTs to decorate your dream home.

Q1. You once said, “We are a native ETH token that will be released in a Zk-rollup and will have a mutichain structure.” So, if we think that ETH is unusable in Metaverse, could you please tell us about your sidechain work? Is Solana included in your plans? @Steffiiigray5

[Nick]

We’ve recently became a part of the zkSync ecosystem. Ethereum is unusable for metaverses and that’s why zk rollups are so attractive. zkSync is built on the most secure and efficient blockchain on the market, but it makes it accessible for everyone. Every transaction will cost you a fraction of a cent. Even their team got interested in showcasing us as one of the examples of AAA Metaverses on Ethereum

I am not sure that Solana will be a part of our project, but we are already establishing cooperation with NEAR, Polygon, BSC, and others.

Q2. I understand that Homespace is a metaverse that allows us to create our own photorealistic world, but what about our Image or Avatar within this metaverse? Will we have the option to see ourselves as we really are within this world? Or will they just be pre-designed characters? @KevSalom

[Nick]

We are using MetaHuman technology by Unreal Engine for creating user avatars. It means that they will be highly customizable and you can even make a copy of your looks into Homespace. Additionally, there will be numerous fashion NFTs to customize your avatar even more. It’s an open-world multiplayer environment where player see and interact with each other, so looks are very important, especially for self expression

Homespace is all about partnerships. Long term and short term, we are planning to attract many partners from different fields like design, architecture, marketing, NFT, game development, DeFi and crypto project and much more. This is to bring enough content to users, make digital fashion shows, events and concerts, and much more

Community is crucial for almost every crypto project. And Homespace Metaverse is no exception. One of the most significant parts of our project is social interaction, we hope to build a solid community to understand their needs better.

We plan to do this through constant communication, incentivization of users’ activity, bounty builder program, support for creators, and much more.

Our audience is almost unlimited, as it was with the first made metaverse called Second Life. We can interest users from various fields, like gamers, architects, designers and the most ordinary people who simply would like to communicate with others and learn something new.

And to summarize it all, we’ll have a governance forum where users can share their feedback and propose new integrations.
