AMA with Instaraise
On the 11th of August, 2021 at 14:00 UTC, Decentralized Club had the honor of hosting Dibyo Majumder (CEO) and Aditya Gautam (CTO), from Instaraise for an Ask-Me-Anything session on their Telegram page with a community of over 30,000 people. It was hosted by DC Admin, May.
The session was divided into four segments. Introductions were made in Segment 1, questions from the Twitter and website community were answered in Segment 2 and 3 respectively, and live questions from the community members in attendance were answered in Segment 4.

Hi Again, this is Dibyo Majumder. I am the CEO and Co-Founder of Instaraise, which is an Advanced IDO Platform in Tezos.
I have been with a lot of Blockchains from early 2017 and now into Tezos and Building for it for the last 2 years 🤞

I have spent quite a time as a tech consultant for Tezos Foundation as well.

Q1. Can you tell us what the motivation behind developing Instaraise was?

We were working for Tezos foundation and as such, we realized with the growing defi ecosystem there was a need for a launchpad that would aid projects in raising capital in a decentralized & interoperable environment. And for Tezos this is the right moment to get into the pace with a lot of projects onboarded.

I have been a part of Tezos for more than two years and as such there was a need for a platform that would aid in the rising DeFi ecosystem here.
Hence Instaraise one platform for helping projects raise capital and help them get started on Tezos.
Instaraise aims to be an all-in-one decentralized fundraising and Incubation platform.

Q2. How does Instaraise create a better ecosystem for token-based projects to raise funds compared to other similar offerings in the market?
[Dibyo]
Instaraise is built to take the community together with its journey. Our Incentivisation approach makes the community part of it for every project that raises capital through our platform. A part of it is airdropped that capital incurred in terms of fees is airdropped to the community and also contributes towards the deflation of our INSTA token.
We believe the value we are providing to the small investors is definitely a catch that other platforms miss out on.

Q3. Can you tell us about your liquidity provisioning feature?

The liquidity provisioning features help the project owners to automatically lock liquidity for projects coming to our platform in terms of $XTZ that is raised in the platform. The catch here is the Liquidity that will be locked is visible to the investors upfront in the sale. So that they gain confidence over the project that there is no rugpull. We make sure that our infra takes care of things in the most secure and automated manner.

Q4. How do we acquire the $INSTA token and why is it important to be held from an investment perspective?

To acquire $INSTA tokens you need to HODL $XTZ and swap it on the presale date. We have a presale coming up in August itself at a private sale price. Soon after a buffer, we’ll have our public sale.
If I specify the perks of HOLDing INSTA, there are Staking and Farming rewards that we give for staking INSTA and INSTA-XTZ LP tokens.
From the investment perspective, holding INSTA will help the investors to get allocations in the private sales of the IDOs coming up on our platform in the near future.

Q6. What are the major plans on track for completion this year for Instaraise?

We have multiple features like Incubation offering to projects willing to raise capital, Initial Liquidity Offering, liquidity mining, staking and locker as a service for projects.
We make sure that we become a full-stack Accelerator for the Tezos ecosystem and help bring more projects in for the community and also help them to rise with continuous support.

How can one increase his weighted score?

You can increase the score by staking more $INSTA for a longer duration, the pool weighted score depends on the amount of $INSTA staked and the duration for which it is staked.
Yes, we’re bringing liquidity farming and staking with our launch. We’ll also come up with ILO initial liquidity offering.

Q2. Instaraise allows projects to list at a fixed price to ensure less volatility around token launch. Most times buyers anticipate this volatility as it fuels their profits. With this in mind, is Instaraise in the common interest of the market?

We feel that the Fixed swap pool makes the distribution fair. The motto of Instaraise is to mitigate the rug pull scams and unfair distribution going around in the market.
Hence We bring in the feature of auto liquidity locking and Fixed swap pool. So that there is no chance of liquidity pulling by anyone hence benefitting the investors with a fair deal.

Q3. Your project tries to fix the prevailing problem of exit scams, whale dumps and rug pulls by 'liquidity locking'. Can you explain how effective your methods will be and what they are?

We came up with a Fixed swap pool approach, When the sale stops and funds are raised all the funds are auto-added at the time of listing thus bringing confidence to the investors. The time factor for locking is decided before the sale starts. We make sure this way the project owner will not be able to get hold of their funds until a certain point of time and do a rugpull.

Q1. Tezos projects are not so popular & I believe there's a great reason for launching Instaraise on the Tezos (XTZ) network. What was the reason your team decided to make this move?

Tezos is just getting started. And we are paving to be the gateway to all the projects interested in Tezos. It's the most amazing blockchain ever, the gas fees are low, Scams are not there and most importantly the POS-based governance makes it IDEAL than any other chain.
Our Tezos community is very welcoming. I believe we can do wonders there.
We at Instaraise are confident enough that we’ll bring more and more to it and make it big.

Q2. Creating a full-stack accelerator and IDO platform is no small deal. As the first Tezos full-stack accelerator and IDO platform, how do you plan on generating fees to sustain Instaraise, and what’s the revenue model?

We make sure the provisions we are coming with keeps the token performance well and give us a better ROI
We charge a fixed amount worth $500 in terms of $INSTA Token that will be 100% vested for 2 years and will be used for incentivizing the community. ( This amount is only charged for the project owners who have done their explicit whitelisting after crossing our due diligence )
A variable charge of 4% of the token sale amount will be deducted in terms of the Project Tokens. From that
2% goes for the development of Instaraise.
1% Swap to $INSTA for 2 years vesting.
1% will be airdropped to random 10 users participating in the sale.
With all these, we make sure that the token is self deflated with more and more projects coming in

What are the purpose and benefits of the Instaraise "Early Samurai Ambassador Program" and is it open to everyone?

Early samurai program is a program that empowers and Incentivises $INSTA community members in terms of $INSTA tokens for being a part of the platform and spreading a shoutout about the platform and helping it grow.
It also provides guaranteed access to our presale to all investors.

From what I read, Instaraise is a KYC secured project, so can you tell us the requirements to pass the KYC on your platform? Are you willing to receive people from all over the world or are there any restrictions?
[Dibyo]
We respect the country-based regulations and people investing need to be KYC'ed before participating in the sale. Only the countries that have restricted their residents will not be able to participate. The countries that don’t have regulations at all or have allowed the use of crypto can be a part of it.

The Instaraise Roadmap is structured with a lot of innovation in IDO platforms including NFTs and Yield Farming. Can you tell us about the innovations Instaraise has in IDO platforms including NFTs and Yield Farming?

Yield farming is to increase the liquidity of the $INSTA tokens in the start you'll be getting at least 300% APR on your investment.
To participate in the SALE you have to buy NFT tickets in terms of tiers which you'll get by staking on the platform.

What are the marketing strategies Instaraise have on spreading awareness about this project?
Language being a major barrier in spreading awareness. Do you have local communities of non-English speaking people? How do you plan or educate non-English users about this project?

English is the most spoken language so far, yet we have support for more languages through the in-house marketing team.
Through videos and translation, we'll bring up more language support.
