AMA with MetaDao

On the 4th of March, 2022 at 14:00 UTC, Decentralized Club had the honor of hosting Muhklis Setiyawan from MetaDOA for an Ask-Me-Anything session on their Telegram page with a community of over 70,000 people. It was hosted by DC Admin, May.

The session was divided into three segments. Introductions were made in Segment 1, questions from the Twitter community were answered in Segment 2, and live questions from the community members in attendance were answered in Segment 3.

Can you tell us about MetaDAO and the inspiration that got it started?

Meta DAO Guild is a multifunctional Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) that develops unique infrastructure solutions to automate and maximize revenue from gaming assets.
We offer not only training for newbies and gaming NFT rental service in the Scholarship structure. These services are already widely presented in the market by other NFT gaming guilds. Unlike others, we approached the market problems comprehensively and launched infrastructure solutions for the GameFi market.

Having become interested in GameFi and getting to know the NFT market more closely, we realized that this market is not without flaws. Game projects and decentralized organizations solve some of the problems of players, investors, and developers locally. But there is no single structure in this, there is no universal solution that would fix the pains of all participants in the NFT market. Our team is working on creating such a solution.

What innovative solution is MetaDAO bringing to topple its competitors with similar offerings in the NFT, GameFi, and DAO sectors?

We create inherently unique solutions for the GameFi market. In fact, we are doing what the market lacked: we are creating a comprehensive infrastructure from scratch. Our products solve the problems of all market participants - players, investors, game developers. We were the first to think about these problems and offer a solution. What we do is truly unique. Moreover, Meta DAO Guild is the first guild with an internal structure organized in the form of Clans.

A Clan is a self-governing formation within the guild that organizes player training and receives a portion of the income. Any guild member with a certain amount of MDGG can apply to form a Сlan. To do that, he will have to pay a fee. Later he will need to bring in a training manager (a guild member with this status) to expand the Clan and get more scholars. Clan creation and expansion fees in MDGG tokens are fully burned to ensure the token value (deflationary model). The Guild lends the NFTs to the clan, receiving its part of the profits. It helps with training and community management. But the main management, role, and profits allocation are done by the Clan itself. Clan gets certain privileges: percentage of scholar profits, NFT quotas, early access to games, etс.
Therefore we make the social infrastructure as interesting and involved as possible for our members.

I want to remind you that our project is not a game. The foundation of our project is a gaming community interested in high-quality p2e games, where the player not only earns but also enjoys the gameplay. Creating your own game universe is a naturally logical step in development for a game guild. But since our project is a decentralized organization, Meta DAO Guild will be what our community wants it to be: all key points will be decided by a general vote.

Can you tell us about your native token and its utilities?

Native token - MDGG - plays a significant role in the entire Meta DAO system. Token ownership is the real ownership and management of Meta DAO Guild. The token will be used throughout the Meta DAO ecosystem to support its activities: within the Scholarship, for operation at MetaRent, MetaExchange, in staking, including DAO Launchpad, and, in the future, at MetaGame. The distribution of tokens will be based on thoughtful tokenomics and vesting, which will help to maintain the token price in the future. The total number of coins to be issued is 1,000,000,000 MDGG. The token is powered by Binance Smart Chain.

Can you tell us about the five MetaDAO units and features of MetaDAO?

As I said before we create inherently unique solutions for the GameFi market. I described in more detail in the second question. Also, we have 3 killer features.
The first killer feature is DAO Launchpad.
It is a decentralized venture fund and an accelerator for new GameFi projects.
DAO Launchpad provides an opportunity for players to become investors of new games. This is how a game project gets both funding and a loyal audience. And players and retail investors get early access to the game at the alpha and beta test stages and the opportunity to invest in tokens of the project (by MDGG token staking) and its NFTs at the earliest, and therefore the most attractive prices.

The second one is MetaRent, the first P2P platform where NFT owners can rent out their game assets (characters, lands, items, etc.) and players can rent them to play and earn money. In this way, players get to start the game without an initial investment, and NFT owners get passive income from their assets without wasting time playing the game.
At the same time, the platform provides tools that guarantee the safety of the transaction for both parties.

Please give us a summary of your 2021 highlights and what major news should we look forward to from MetaDAO in 2022?

We follow the roadmap. Now we are launching the Scholarship system and gathering our community.
Also, the 1st round of the private sale of our MDGG tokens is going on right now. Next, according to our plan, we have the development of MetaRent - a platform for renting gaming NFTs and listing our token on CEX and DEX in Q2 of 2022. And in the 3rd quarter of 2022, we plan to open the DAO Launchpad venture investment fund. For 2023 we have MetaExchange and our own game launch.

Yes, we will use a deflationary token burn model to maintain the value of our token. For example, we have a plan to burn commission for sending tokens to staking, as well as the commission for using the MetaRent and MetaExchange services

I am a professional vulnerability finder on the web, do you think Your system is secure enough from hackers? Does your project have a program that rewards individual vulnerability detection of the system?

I love this question. We plan to hold several public audits by independent companies in the following weeks, we plan to set up the whole KYC for our users, and taking into consideration that we plan to work worldwide, ICO audits and all GDPR regulations are guaranteed to our users.
Furthermore, we also work on protection from phishing attacks and any scam or fraud, that is why we have CTF people among us.

Partners and marketing are crucial for adoption, it's also important to have translation programs or local communities to pass information across to non-English speakers. Would there be a form of marketing and are there plans to partner with other projects?

We strive to ensure that our project has become global. Therefore, we plan to create local communities. Our website is already in English, French, and Philippine languages and we are going to provide local communities with our discord group.
We cooperate with the media - both with the specialized press about cryptocurrencies and business media. For example, articles about our project have already been published in Forbes, Benzinga, AMBCrypto, BeINcrypto, Yahoo finance, and other popular media. We also cooperate with lots of bloggers and thematic telegram channels. We are going to spread our activity to gamers' communities and influencers.

Would you please discuss more your upcoming NFT renting platform called "MetaRent"? What will be the initial structure of this platform? Will the NFT lenders be able to set their terms of borrowing freely under this platform?

MetaRent is the first P2P platform where NFT owners can rent out their game assets (characters, lands, items, etc.) and players can rent them to play and earn money. Yes, it will be possible to regulate the percentage that will be divided between the scholar and the owner and specify the requirements for the scholar.

Some of the games linked to META DAO GUILD are well known like Axie Infinity, Star Atlas, and many more. What are the real benefits for DAO members on external platforms like that? Is it possible to get scholarships?

For example, we will provide smart contracts on our MetaRent platform. The technical implementation depends on the game: for example, in the popular game, Axie Infinity NFT remains with its owner, and Scholar can connect NFT to its own game account and start playing and earning. In this case, all profits go to the wallet of the NFT owner and he, in turn, shares the income with the player. For player insurance, NFT owners must reserve a certain amount in smart-contract when renting out NFTs. For other games, if necessary, will additional mechanics to protect the interests of both parties.

Our business model is based on our units. In short:
1) as part of Guilds Scholarship, we receive part of the gaming income from the game of our scholars, as well as from our investments and the price increase of the guild-owned gaming NFT
2) on the MetaRent and MetaExchange platforms we will receive a commission from transactions
3) DAO Launchpad will bring investment income both to MDGG token holders for staking it on the platform and to the company.
It's important! We plan to grow not income, but the value of our coins. Therefore, we will burn most of the tokens
