AMA with Motiv Protocol
On the 4th of August, 2022 at 12:00 UTC, Decentralized Club had the honor of hosting Jin Jong Won from the Motiv Protocol for an Ask-Me-Anything session on their Telegram page with a community of over 100,000 people. It was hosted by DC Host, Ella.
The session was divided into three segments. Introductions were made in Segment 1, questions from the Twitter community were answered in Segment 2, and live questions from the community members in attendance were answered in Segment 3.

Q1. Can you give us a quick overview of Motiv Protocol and what motivated you to start this project?

The MOTIV Protocol is an educational and decentralized identification platform that provides educational information equally to students, parents, academy managers, and advertisers using blockchain technology. We create a reliable education market for anyone who hasn’t faked their academic credentials.
Korea is a country with a very high interest in education. This has led to the establishment of a lot of private academies. Therefore, it is difficult to find a private academy that actually helps students. We started this project to get rid of the educational gap between those with easy access to academies and those with less access. With accurate reviews, students can get accurate information about academies, which will help them choose the private academy that best suits them. We present a new vision and paradigm for the entire education industry.

Q2. Can you offer us a summary of the categories of Academy Managers, Learners, and Advertisers that are available?
[Jin]
Academy Managers can promote their academies through Listings. Through accurate reviews, they can get credit from their customers. Transparent transactions become possible with blockchain technology.
Learners can quickly find educational information which is currently spread all around the internet in one place. Also, they can search for customized education information directly from the MOTIV protocol app. In the community, Learners can find educational and professional information easily.
The MOTIV Project’s main customer base is students.This allows Advertisers to have a targeted marketing strategy for their ads. As many of you know, targeting strategies can be highly effective and low cost. Therefore, Advertisers can conduct efficient advertising and reduce their advertising costs.

Q3.What makes Motiv Protocol different from others?
[Jin]
A lot of bad review marketing is occurring on many platforms right now. A false review prevents customers from seeing accurate information about a product or service, which results in them not being able to make an informed choice.
On the MOTIV platform, only students who are currently attending an academy can write reviews about that academy. This means that reviews cannot be manipulated and that only credible reviews will be written. These features will be of great use when students look for an academy that is right for them. They will contribute to the healthy growth of the education market through accurate reviews.
Students can also prove what they studied on the MOTIV platform. We will have a system that issues NFTs on our platform. Students will be able to store NFTs containing the information about the classes they have taken in their virtual asset wallets.
NFTs will be issued by the academy, so the information will be accurate. If a student has taken a special class and needs to prove it in the future, they will be able to by showing the information contained in the NFT.

Q4. what are the ways to acquire MOV token ? What are the advantages?

MOV is the utility token used on the MOTIV platform that can be obtained through MOTIV ecosystem activities or can be purchased from Korean or overseas digital asset exchanges.
The most important advantage is that students can pay for lectures with MOV.
Learners can also be rewarded with MOV for completing the Q&A registration or posting course reviews. When they get rewarded with MOV for activities performed on the MOTIV platform, they could use that same MOV to pay for their next lecture purchase. This is very helpful for their parents too.

Q5. .Can you tell us about Motiv forthcoming events and the accomplishments it has made thus far?

We are continuously developing the beta version of hakwon.com. All of our team members are working hard on the goal of releasing the full version of the MOTIV platform in the fourth quarter of this year.

Q1: Almost 3/4 of investors are focused purely on the price of token in short term instead of understanding the real value and health of the project. Could you tell us on motivations and benefits for investors to hold your token in long term?

Our project is in line with Korea’s passion for education. Many students and parents want accurate information about private academies and we provide it. Reviews that cannot be tampered with will advance our project, and this development will be a driving force for holders to look forward to our project for a long time. Finally, an active platform ecosystem will further increase the value of MOV. [Ella]
Q2: Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to #motiv_protocol. Because it is the success of a project to get more investors who are still not in the crypto world. What are the plans to increase awareness around your in non-crypto space?

The MOTIV Protocol operates a platform based on blockchain technology. It is a platform that is helpful not only in the world of cryptocurrency, but also in our actual lives. We directly play a helpful role in the future of our students. We will continue to partner with other projects and expand our ecosystem. People will become interested in our project, even if they are not cryptocurrency investors.

Q3:Are you worried that when the market is unstable, your project will be difficult to develop during this period, so what will you do and where does the current income mainly come from?

If you look at the business model of the MOTIV platform, it is not based on investment from customers. It is possible to generate various revenue through lecture purchase fees, academy registration fees, lecture review activities, advertisements, etc. Our tokens can be traded within the platform, which will show their value even in an unstable cryptocurrency market

Q4: As seen on today’s world of crypto, scams and rugpulls are very prevalent in Binance Smart Chain. Can you tell us how can you propose a solution for this? How can you prove that your project is not a scam project? Are you audited already?

As you mentioned, there have been many scams and rugpulls in the crypto market. However, blockchain-based projects keep rising interest among institutional and retail investors because there is huge demand in technological solutions. Even though there were dozens of cases bad projects who could not fulfill any promises or scammed many users, there are thousands of great potential projects in the market. I believe that Motiv Protocol is one of these potential solutions that will be appreciated in the long-term timeline.

The MOTIV Protocol is a blockchain-based education platform that provides education information proportionally to students, parents, academy managers and advertisers, thereby creating a reliable and fair education ecosystem for everyone.
Through NFTs, a blockchain technology, students can prove their education history and retain proof of that information forever. This will be helpful for their careers.
In addition, since only students who have taken a certain academy’s lectures can write reviews, reviews are reliable. This further provides a reliable, educational environment.
Through this system, we will create an environment where investors can invest in the MOTIV Project.

Ans: Partnership is the biggest part of MOTIV Protocol success. As we are working with educational institutions we need more and more universities, schools and any kind of alternative educational entity to join our ecosystem for growth. Along with all that partnerships, we also look at blockchain-based projects to improve the infrastructure and find right tools for operations

Q2How can people from different regions/ countries get access to MOTIV protocol services? Do you planned to extend your service to people in the remote areas that need your service most expecially African countries? And how do you plan to achieve it?

Ans:Currently, MOTIV is operating mostly in South Korea because the Korean market is one of the best places to try out blockchain-based educational platform like MOTIV. Eventual goal of Motiv Protocol is expending to other continents and become a global system of education that will be used by millions of students, including African countries.

Ans: I think that once MOTIV will be big enough, we can reach the level when MOTIV can operate in different countries with permission to integrate in educational system of one or another country. At that moment, we try to reach as many different private and public educational institutions to expend.

Q4. Is it completely necessary to have some knowledge of the blockchain environment and technology to be able to use the services provided by MOTIV, or any average user could access your platform without any inconvenience?
