Q1. What is OpenShop about and what problem is it solving in the NFT space ?
Anthony:
Openshop is a Shopify-like NFT platform built on Solana.
The app will allow creators to create their NFT shop without any code, upload their NFTs using the Metaplex standard and manage their sales from their dashboard.
Each creator will have their own shop page, collection page and product page (just like a normal e-commerce).
There will also be a secondary marketplace when anyone can buy and sell.
We are going through our raise and will be rolling our the product Q1 2022
So essentially the problem were solving is the current high barrier to entry for NFT creators wanting to launch their NFT collection on Solana

Just like e-commerce creators on Shopify, you can sign up in minutes, drag and drop customisations to build your store (no coding required).
Once your shop created, you can use the mataplex standard to launch your NFT collections

Just like OpenSea, there are platform fees when buying and selling on the OpenShop marketplace (2.5%)
We will generate revenue for each purchase on the site

The OPS token is the native OpenShop token built on Solana.
The OPS token serves currently 3 purposes for stakers :
1. You will be able to receive a % of the fees (in SOL) generated by the platform by staking.
2. You will be able to purchase NFTs at a discount by using OPS as a payment method
3. You will be able to access certain exclusive features by staking OPS.
So basically, you can expect a high amount of OPS to be staked
With rewards not affecting the price, as fees are distributed in SOL
